Frequently asked questions
What happens if I enter an overnight shift where the end time is earlier than the start?
It doesn't wrap to the next day — the negative difference gets clamped to 0, so overnight shifts need to be split into two day entries (e.g. one ending at midnight, one starting from it) to calculate correctly.
Does the break time get validated against the shift length?
No — if your break minutes exceed the total shift length, the result is just clamped to 0h 0m rather than showing a negative number or a warning.
How is "Avg Per Day" calculated?
Total minutes across every day entry divided by the number of entries you've added, rounded to the nearest minute — every entry counts toward the denominator, even a 0h one.
