Do the App and Player card types need extra tags beyond what's shown here?
Yes — Twitter's App and Player cards require additional properties, like twitter:player or twitter:app:id, that this generator doesn't produce. Selecting those types only changes the twitter:card value itself, not the accompanying tags those cards actually need.
Does it matter if I include the @ symbol in my handle?
No — a leading @ is stripped off first, then exactly one @ is added back when building the tag, so "@handle" and "handle" produce the same result.
What's the difference between the Site and Creator handles?
twitter:site identifies the website or brand's account, while twitter:creator credits the individual author of that specific piece of content — you can fill in one, both, or neither.
