Frequently asked questions

How is the SIP maturity amount calculated?

Using the standard SIP future-value formula, which compounds each monthly investment at your expected monthly return rate until maturity — the same formula most mutual fund SIP calculators use.

Is the 'Expected Return' guaranteed?

No — mutual fund returns are market-linked and not guaranteed. The rate you enter is just an assumption for projection purposes; actual returns can be higher or lower.

What's the difference between 'Total Invested' and 'Est. Gains'?

Total Invested is simply your monthly amount multiplied by the number of months. Est. Gains is the maturity amount minus that total — i.e. the extra money earned purely from compounding returns.
