What order are the tiles numbered in?
Left to right, then top to bottom — tile 1 is the top-left piece, so uploading them in that same order keeps the layout correct on Instagram or wherever you're posting them.
Does splitting reduce image quality?
No — each tile is cropped losslessly to PNG at the source image's full resolution, just divided into pieces rather than resized down.
What if the image doesn't divide evenly into my grid?
Each tile's size is rounded down to the nearest whole pixel, so a few leftover pixels along the right or bottom edge may be dropped rather than included in the last row or column.
