How to use Favicon Generator
Generates a text-based icon from initials — it doesn't accept an uploaded image. For a favicon made from your own logo, convert it with PNG to ICO instead.

Frequently asked questions
Does this produce an actual .ico file?
No — it generates a single 64×64 PNG and offers it as favicon.png. If your setup specifically needs a .ico file, you'll need to convert that PNG separately.
Can I generate an icon with just a color and no letters?
No — the preview and download only appear once you've typed text into the initials field, since nothing is drawn to the canvas until there's text to render.
Does it export multiple icon sizes?
Not really — it draws one 64×64 canvas and just displays that same image scaled down for the 32px and 16px previews, so there's only one file to download.
