What file format is the placeholder in?
SVG — it's built from an inline vector rectangle and centered text, not a rasterized PNG or JPG, so it downloads as a .svg file and stays sharp at any size.
Can I use my own text instead of the dimensions?
Yes — anything you type in the Custom Text field replaces the default width×height label; leave it blank and it falls back to showing the size automatically.
Is there a maximum size?
The width and height fields cap out at 2000px each, so 2000×2000 is the largest placeholder you can generate.
