Frequently asked questions
What happens if I get it wrong?
You'll see 'Not quite — try again' and can keep guessing the same scrambled word as many times as you like — there's no penalty or limit on attempts.
What does the Reveal button do?
It shows you the correct answer and automatically advances to a new scrambled word after a short pause, without adding to your score.
Is the letter scramble guaranteed to differ from the real word?
Yes — the shuffle logic re-shuffles until the result differs from the original word (or after 20 attempts as a safety cap), so you won't see the answer already unscrambled by chance.
