NEWFind the mean, median, mode, range, variance, and standard deviation of any list of numbers.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between population and sample standard deviation?
Use population when your numbers are the entire group you care about (dividing by n), and sample when they're a subset drawn from a larger group (dividing by n − 1, which corrects for a sample tending to understate the spread). Sample values need at least two numbers.
What if there's more than one mode, or none?
If several values tie for most frequent, all of them are listed. If every value appears only once, it says there's no mode instead of picking one arbitrarily.
How should I enter the numbers?
Separate them with commas, spaces, or new lines — any mix works. Anything that isn't a number is skipped and listed above the results so you can see exactly what was ignored.
