Does key order matter?

No — {"a":1,"b":2} and {"b":2,"a":1} are treated as identical, since the comparison walks each object's keys regardless of the order they appear in.

How are array differences shown?

By position — comparing index 0 to index 0, index 1 to index 1, and so on. Inserting an item in the middle of an array will show every item after it as "changed" even though they didn't really change, since everything shifted position.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No — the comparison runs entirely in your browser.
